Council has a legislative requirement to have a Strategic Plan but, more importantly, Council wishes to genuinely plan a sustainable future for the community. Council wants to be a willing partner with the community in building on our successes and overcoming any challenges for Mount Gambier and its citizens into the future.

Council’s aspirations can be achieved through its strategic plan.

The basis for preparation of Beyond 2015 is the current Strategic Plan, Towards 2015 – Vision for the Future which can be viewed here (Towards 2015 – Vision for the Future) or alternatively a copy can be obtained at the Civic Centre reception area of the City Council.
