Under 5's Storytelling and Craft Sessions


Come along to one of the Under 5's sessions, where your child(ren) will listen to all kinds of stories, as well as have a great time making something special to take home.

There might also be singing and dancing!

To find out what's planned for the upcoming sessions, please give the Library a call on 8721 2540.

Every Tuesday from 10:30am to 11:00am
(During school term)

Sessions are free to attend, and we also ask that parents remain in the Library throughout the duration of the session.

Baby Bounce & Rhyme

Introducing the chance for parents or caregivers to share songs and rhymes with their babies and toddlers .

Sessions will be held every Tuesday afternoon at 2:15pm. Free tea and coffee provided and bookings are not required.

The Little Big Book Club

In addition to South Australia's very own 'The Big Book Club', we now have
'The Little Big Book Club'. This is a guide for parents on reading aloud to children from birth to pre-school age.
Reading aloud to your child from the time he or she is a baby is the single most important activity you can do to help your child develop the skills they will need to learn to read and write.

If your baby is aged between 6 and 12 months, The Advertiser Little Big Book Club is offering you and your baby a FREE reading pack, which consistes of:

  • A book - 'Baby Baby' by Phil Cummings and illustrated by Greg Holfeld
  • Let's Read storytime DVD
  • It's Storytime reading guide with suggested titles
  • Your baby's first Library bag
  • A growth chart

The World Book Online Reference Centre offers more than 25,000 encyclopedia articles, that have been carefully edited to suit the educational levels of the users most likely to access them, from Grades 4 - 12, through to adults.
With access to over 1,800 tables, 10,000 images, 10,000 audio clips and 100 animations and videos, it is the perfect website to access when completing any homework assignments.
The Reference Centre also includes an online dictionary and atlas, as well as resources for students and teachers to aid in conducting your research.

Your Tutor

Your Tutor

One-on-one online tutoring for maths, science and English. Recommended for students in Years 4-12 and operates from 4pm-8pm, Monday to Friday.

This program is easy to use and the student is connected to expert tutors for up to 20 minutes of online tutoring. All tutors undergo a background check and are familiar with South Australia's curriculum.
