Youth Activation Group

The City of Mount Gambier Youth Activation Group (YAG) has provided important leadership to Council for over a decade, focusing on encouraging participation of young people in community life. The YAG has been highly successful in delivering programs and youth events across the city, ensuring young people’s voices are heard on issues, and in networking people across the city.

The newly established City of Mount Gambier Youth Activation Group (YAG) is a group of 12–25 year-olds who work with council to take action on things that matter for youth in our community. The group is open to new members to brainstorm and deliver new ideas, events, and activities to make Mount Gambier a great place to be.
