Blue Lake Y Swim Club Annual Carnival

Blue Lake Y Swim Club is hosting its annual two day carnival at the Mount Gambier Autistic Centre, which is a National Qualifying Meet.

The event will take place from Saturday, December 7, 2019 to Sunday, December 8, 2019.

This event is well supported by Metropolitan and Country swim clubs from South Australia and Victoria. The event commences on Saturday with the City of Mount Gambier Mayor officially opening proceedings at 1:30pm. The National Anthem will be sung by Alison Newman and the first race will commence at 1:45pm.

The fastest 8 male and female 50 freestyle competitors on the day fight it out for the Dash 4 Cash. This year a Junior Dash 4 Cash has been added to the program for the 8 fastest male and female 12&Under freestyle competitors. The first day of racing finishes around 5:30pm Saturday evening and then Day 2 action commences at 9:15am Sunday morning. The meet concludes early Sunday afternoon with the fastest male and female 100 freestyle competitors of the day being presented with trophies.
