Blue Lake Y Swim Club is once again hosting its annual two day carnival on 9 -10 December 2023 at Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre.
This event is is a National Qualifying Meet which is well supported by Metropolitan and Country swim clubs from South Australia and Victoria.
This event is long course (outdoor 50m pool) and commences on Saturday, 9 December with gates opening at 12:30pm and first race at 2:00pm
The Open dash for cash (13 & over) and the junior dash for cash (12 & under) is back with the fastest 8 male and female 50m Freestyle competitors on the day fighting it out to take home the money.
The first day of racing finishes around 6.00pm Saturday evening and then Day 2 action commences at 9.00am Sunday morning.
Throughout the competition, swimmers will be awarded medals for individual aged events and ribbons for relay events.
The meet concludes early Sunday afternoon with the Fastest Male and Female 100 Freestyle competitors of the day being presented with trophies.
This is a free event for spectators.
Competition fee of $10.00 for individual event and $12.00 relay event.
