The Mount Gambier Cycling Club present the Crank the Crater Hill Climb which will be an open event to anyone who can ride a push bike.
Crank the Crater Hill Climb is open to anyone with a push bike.
Roads within the Valley Lakes/Kettle Malpe will be closed from 7:00am.
Riders will be able to sign on (enter the event) from 8:00am ready to start the ride up the hill from about 8:30am.
We will continue to take entries up to 9:30am.
The event consists of a solo or time trial ride for each rider at their own pace over the 2km journey from the bottom car park to the Centenary Tower car park and elevation of approx. 80 metres.
Riders will leave the start line one at a time with a 2 minute time gap between riders.
Riders who finish will receive a certificate showing the time they completed the hill climb and a chance to win some prize money in various categories.
