The Lions Club of Mount Gambier is hosting the 201 C2 Crater City Capers District Convention in Mount Gambier on the weekend of the 11th – 13th of October 2019, assisted by the Lions Club of Gambier City and the Lioness Club of Mount Gambier.
The Convention will take place predominately at the Italo Australia’s Clubrooms at Casadio Park with a memorial Service at the Lions Memorial Park in the Lakes precinct.
The C2 District covers half of South Australia, all of the Northern Territory and reaches into North Western Victoria and South Western New South Wales. Lions International is one of the leading Service Clubs in Australia with 1,350 Clubs and 30,000 members, with donations of $50,000,000 annually, assisting the community.
The Annual District Convention is hosted by a different Club each year. This is where District management and Leadership decisions are made. Conventions are also, of course, where fellowship amongst Lions is enjoyed, and friendships made and renewed.
