Before the Bounce

Mount Gambier will celebrate all things footy in the lead up to the AFL Gather Round with ‘Before the Bounce’ community activities to be held from Saturday 23 March 2024 until Sunday 7 April 2024. More than 40,000 people are expected to travel through Mount Gambier on the way to the Gather Round in Adelaide. Before the Bounce is a program of footy based events and activities to be held throughout the city designed to capitalise on the influx of visitors. Read full article

Council signs rehoming partnership with SEAWL

In the initial phase of the project, Council engaged with the community in late 2023 to hear about what residents collectively value, what we want to be known for, and the opportunities to embrace or challenges to overcome as we approach 2035.
