At the end of counting in the local government election for the position of Mayor of the City of Mount Gambier the following are the provisional results of the postal ballot election declared at 6:00pm on Saturday 10 November 2018:

Lynette Martin OAM was provisionally declared elected Mayor of the City of Mount Gambier.

“A total of 8286 votes were received with a voter turnout of 42.85 per cent, which is an increase of about 1.5 per cent in comparison to the local government elections in 2014,” City of Mount Gambier CEO Mark McShane said.
