Youth Advisory Group

The City of Mount Gambier Youth Advisory Group (YAG) has provided important leadership to Council for over a decade, focusing on encouraging participation of young people in community life. The YAG has been highly successful in delivering programs and youth events across the city, ensuring young people’s voices are heard on issues, and in networking people across the city.

The following is a snapshot of just some of the activities the team have been involved with over the last couple of years.

  • Youth Week,
  • Mount Gambier Christmas Parade,
  • Mount Gambier Futures Paper for City Development,
  • Fundraising for Mayor's Christmas Appeal which assists agencies to support those in need at Christmas time.
