Membership of the Junior Sports Assistance Fund is comprised of the City of Mount Gambier, the District Council of Grant and a number of sporting organisations who are Members of the Fund.
The fund provides financial support for junior sports persons who have achieved State selection or better in a specific sport. Since the fund's inception in 1988, more than $500,000 has been disbursed to Member Organisations of the Fund to assist their respective juniors. In addition to the general funds available to juniors, specialised programs are advertised to Members such as:
- Specialised Coaching Clinics
- Disadvantaged Junior Program
- Exceptional Junior Program
