This Saturday 29 November 2025 the Waste Transfer Station will hold a free household chemical and paint drop - off day from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

Residents are invited to safely dispose of unwanted household chemicals and paint that may be sitting unused in sheds or garages.

We encourage everyone to take advantage of this free and easy opportunity. Chemical collection day is the perfect time to tidy up your home and shed. - City of Mount Gambier Environmental Sustainability Business Partner Aaron Izzard.
