Works in Progress

The City of Mount Gambier outdoor staff will be working in the following areas in the coming weeks:
  • Pinehall Avenue
  • Wireless Road East
  • Crouch Street South

2024 ROAD RESEALING PROGRAM

Council advises that Gambier Earth Movers will be undertaking the road resealing program in coming weeks with works commencing on Monday 12 February 2024. Further notification will be provided to affected residents by Gambier Earth Movers prior to the commencement of each road.

The public is requested to exercise care and patience during the works and to ensure that children and pets are kept well clear of machinery.

WIRELESS ROAD EAST

Council advises that reconstruction works will be undertaken on Wireless Road East (between Kennedy Avenue and Attamurra Road) commencing on Monday 4 March 2024 for a period of approximately six weeks.

Property access may be restricted during the works and property owners will be notified as necessary.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and reminds motorists to observe all traffic and speed limit signage and use care when approaching and travelling through these road works.

CROUCH STREET SOUTH

Council advises that road reconstruction and kerb and channel works will commence on Crouch Street South (from Lake Terrace East to John Watson Drive) on Tuesday 12 March 2024 for a period of approximately five weeks.

Crouch Street will remain open to local traffic (residents) during these works however there will be minor interruptions to property access at times. Council employees will liase with property owners/occupiers regarding access restrictions when required.

Motorists are reminded to observe all traffic and speed limit signage and use care when approaching and traveling through the roadworks.
