Fringe Mount Gambier is the largest open access regional festival in South Australia.
In 2024, the festival sprawls across 3 big weeks from Friday 22 March 2024 to Sunday 7 April 2024, embracing its inclusion of the Easter Long Weekend.
With 40 Fringe events set to take over venues and public spaces during the festival, there is something, somewhere, for everyone; comedy, cabaret, burlesque, music, theatre, kids entertainment, dance, visual arts, and more!
In 2024, the festival is excited to introduce FRINGE LANEWAYS! A series of Fringe events taking over selected laneways, with free community Fringe action, including the Luminous Laneway on Friday 29 March, Fringe Laneway Fiesta on Saturday 30 March and look out for Laneways by Day.
Whilst Fringeland and the street party take a breather this year, returning in 2025, Fringe Laneways will bring Fringe performers, roving artists, twilight markets, DJs and music, kids entertainment, interactive art, showcases of local wine, craft beers and street food to our CBD laneways.
The 2024 theme is ‘Grow & Glow’ and glow we will - feature light projection artist Video Architecture will display community and interactive art on 2 key heritage buildings during the festival!
