The Great Vic Bike Ride is a 10-day bike riding event, exploring the Limestone Coast and Great Ocean Road in 2019. There will be 4,000 riders riding more that 600km form Robe to Torquay, with Mount Gambier as one of the overnight stays.
The event is a pop-up town on the move, with Bicycle Network providing for riders facilitates, catering, bars, entertainment, vendors and on-road support. Riders will begin arriving in Mount Gambier around 12:00pm, Sunday 24 November 2019 and will be en route to Portland by 8:30am, Monday 25 November 2019.
As these riders are on holidays, the event also attracts 400 volunteers and provides fundraising opportunities to the local communities we visit.
