The Science Collective is back at the Showground Hall in Mount Gambier!
The Science Collective returns to the Showground Halls in Mount Gambier on Sunday 31st August for a FREE National Science Week Science Fair with some brand new attractions and plenty of your favourite activities of previous fairs.
There will be two three-hour sessions on the day (9.30am-12.30pm and 1.00pm-4.00pm) and each session will have amazing science shows, engaging displays and plenty of hands-on activities to keep young family members busy for the entire session.
The event this year has been made possible thanks to a major sponsorship from OneFortyOne and support from the City of Mount Gambier and the National Science Week Committee (SA).
We welcome Animals Anonymous back to a Mount Gambier Science Fair with their fascinating range of wildlife; SciWorld will be presenting their amazing Liquid Nitrogen Show and running robotics workshops and crowd favourite SciFiBri has some new tricks in his Fire & Froth Show.
SciWorld's huge inflatable planetarium will take you on a journey through the night sky and the shows and attractions will be complemented by a day of hands-on science fun with an electric circuit activity and several new engineering challenges.
Roboroos will also be there for their first visit to a Mount Gambier Science Fair with their come and try robotics challenges.
Hungry or thirsty? No problems. There will be the Spud Train food van and a Seriously Caffeinated coffee van on site.
This is a FREE science fair but bookings are still required as we may have to cap numbers before the event.
So don't delay in booking your tickets now at Science collective .
