Entrepreneurs in Conversation: Limestone Coast
14 March 2018

Ahead of the eNVIsion Incubator, New Venture Institute is bringing the long-running Entrepreneurs in Conversation series to Mount Gambier with a selection of Limestone Coast locals that capture the essence of innovation and entrepreneurship in the region.

Hear Louise Nobes, Dru Reschke and Ashlee Kalantarian discuss their successes, failures and top tips in navigating the startup journey.

Panelists:

Louise Nobes

Louise is an award winning social entrepreneur, founder and CEO with a 15 year background in social work and business. Louise is highly recognised for her ability to work with disadvantaged young people and to inspire them to create their own solutions out of poverty. To achieve this Louise created KIK, which is a brand-led company that creates jobs through co-designing business solutions with young people. Since August 2016, KIK has opened three coffee stores across Adelaide and is now expanding into other sectors.

Dru Reschke

While in his 20s, Dru began helping his father set up and manage his family vineyards, Koonara, and has since been awarded the Geoffrey Roberts Award for innovations in the wine industry and chosen for the Future Leaders Wine program. Aside from his forays into wine, Dru has started a range of other businesses across homewares, jewellery and glassware. Currently he also sits on the board of Business SA.

Ashlee Kalantarian

Ashlee founded her definitive line 'Ashlee Lauren' with the goal of offering contemporary custom hand-made couture bridal accessories, crowns, and race wear pieces built on the core philosophy of customisation for individuality. Gaining inspiration from the fusion of the natural and the mineral in the modern world, each collection embodies and exudes an ambience of grace, empowerment and allure.
