The City of Mount Gambier Junior Sports Assistance Fund congratulates Brock Keding on his participation in two National Baseball tournaments in recent weeks.

Last week Brock competed in the 2018 Senior League National Championship Under 17 Charter Team Adelaide Titans in Lismore, against New South Wales and won silver.

Brock played well in the championship game, having two hits and a couple of put outs in the outfield.

Earlier this month, Brock also represented South Australia in the National Open Schoolboys Baseball tournament in Adelaide. South Australia finished with a silver medal, just missing out on gold to New South Wales.

The City of Mount Gambier Junior Sports Assistance Fund made a donation of $450 to help Brock participate in these events.

"The fund is pleased to make this donation to the promising Mount Gambier and District Baseball League junior to assist him to continue to achieve excellence and to be able to compete at a state wide level to gain valuable experience," Junior Sports Assistance Fund Secretary Barbara Cernovskis said.

The City of Mount Gambier Junior Sports Assistance Fund is a joint initiative of the City of Mount Gambier, the District Council of Grant and local affiliated sporting organisations to assist local junior sports people.
