This will be a relaxed and supportive free group session where people can connect with others with lived experience of brain injury, share their own story, as well as discuss and learn more about strategies for making progress and recovering after a brain injury. Tea, coffee, and a light morning tea will be provided.

The group is running Friday 25 June, from 12:30pm to 3:00pm at the Mount Gambier Library, 6 Watson Terrace.

The session also covers:

  • Learning more about the brain and neuroplasticity
  • Exploring the challenges of brain injury and strategies that help
  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Interpersonal relationships
  • Identity and meaning
  • Planning for the future and goal setting.

Registration is required, we will just need their name and contact number. They don't need to be a NDIS participant as this is a free session. If a support person would like to attend this is most definitely welcome.
