The six-day Tour of the Great South Coast is Australia's longest road cycling race. Attracting top professional cyclists from all Australian States, New Zealand and other countries.
Stage 1 and 2 are in Mount Gambier as follows:
Stage 1 Criterium - CBD circuit - Vansittart Park - 30 laps of a 1.2km Circuit from 10:45am to 11:30am.
Stage 2 Criterium - Blue Lake Circuit - 10 laps of a 6.5km circuit - Starting from O'Halloran Terrace, travelling briefly up Wehl Street, onto Lake Terrace West, up to and around the Blue Lake before heading down Bay Road and back into O'Halloran Terrace. Race commences at 1:30pm to approximately 3:00pm.
Stage 3 starts at 11:00am in Port MacDonnell
Stage 4 and 5 are held in Naracoorte. Stage 4 starts at 11:00am and Stage 5 at 2:00pm
Stage 6 starts at 12 noon in Heywood
Stage 7 starts at 12 noon in Cape Bridgewater
Stage 8 (final stage) starts at 12 noon in Portland
