Following endorsement at the September 2020 Council meeting, the draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2020 – 2024 framework is now open for public consultation. The plan is a first of its kind for the City of Mount Gambier and outlines how Council proposes to provide equal access to services for all members of the community, regardless of ability. ​Mount Gambier Library will host author Victoria Purman to celebrate her latest release The Women’s Pages on Thursday 17 September 2020 at 7:00pm. Hailed as the master of Australian fiction, Victoria will discuss her latest book based on real experiences of post-war Australian women at the event to be held in the Dress Circle at The Riddoch Arts and Cultural Centre. The 2020/2021 City of Mount Gambier Sport and Recreation Capital Works Program is now open for applications. The program is open to sport and recreation groups and organisations within Mount Gambier and aims to encourage and assist in the development and capital renewal of sport and recreation infrastructure within the City.
