Local tourism experiences come alive with the newly installed ‘Pop Out Brochure’ now on show at the Mount Gambier Visitor Centre, featuring works by local artist Mel Cecotti. The ‘Pop-Out Brochure’ is a new installation at the Mount Gambier Visitor Centre to encourage fun and engaging interaction. The City of Mount Gambier has accepted a petition signed by more than 10,000 community members in favour of the proposed Mount Gambier Regional Sport and Recreation Centre at a Special Council meeting on Tuesday 24 April 2018. Council also endorsed the submission of an EOI for $20million in Federal Government funds. Read full article

The Rotary Club of Mount Gambier Lakes has donated more than $2000 to the Junior Sports Assistance Fund to assist financially disadvantaged junior sports people with the costs associated with participating in their chosen sport​. The donation is part of the proceeds from the the club's annual OneFortyOne Blue Lake Fun Run.​ Read full article
